About BlueCollarIntel

What is BlueCollarIntel?

BlueCollarIntel is ownership-continuity infrastructure for essential businesses. We map markets of operating businesses and assemble evidence-backed intelligence about the companies within them, supporting decisions from discovery through monitoring.

Who is it for?

The Services are built for the people and institutions involved in the continuity of essential businesses: owners and successors, acquirers and independent buyers, advisors, lenders and CDFIs, and the institutions and associations that support them.

What makes it different from a lead database?

Every material item we present carries its evidence: its source, its state, its known limits, the access rules that apply to it, and its history. The point is not a longer list of contacts; it is intelligence you can stand behind because you can see where each piece of it came from.

Evidence and accuracy

Where does the information come from?

From sources we are permitted to use: official and government records, licensed data obtained under agreement, publicly available information, and information provided directly by businesses and their authorized representatives. We keep the origin of each item on record.

What do the states mean: verified, estimated, unknown, unverified?

They describe how well an item is established by its evidence at a point in time. Verified means the evidence supports it; estimated means it is calculated or inferred and shown as such; unverified means it has not yet been checked; and unknown means it is not established. We report the state rather than presenting everything as settled fact.

What if a record about my business is wrong?

Tell us. We take the accuracy of business records seriously. We will review the record against its evidence and correct it where warranted, and we keep a record of the change. You can reach us through the contact page or at privacy@blucollarintel.com.

Does BlueCollarIntel guarantee its intelligence?

No. The intelligence is decision support, not a guarantee. A state such as verified reflects the evidence recorded at a point in time; it is not a warranty of a fact or of any outcome. You remain responsible for your own verification and decisions.

Using the intelligence

Is this legal, tax, or financial advice?

No. The Services do not provide legal, tax, accounting, credit, appraisal, or investment advice, and using them does not create a professional relationship. Qualified people remain responsible for legal, tax, credit, appraisal, and transaction decisions, and you should obtain your own professional advice before acting.

Does BlueCollarIntel broker deals or give investment advice?

No. We are an intelligence and software provider. We do not act as a broker, dealer, or adviser, we do not facilitate transactions, and we are not compensated based on the value or completion of any transaction. Any transaction you pursue is between you and the other parties, with your own advisors.

Access and accounts

How do I get access?

Request access through the site and tell us about the market, business, or question you are working on. We will follow up to understand your needs and arrange access.

Who can see a given record?

Access within the Services is governed by permissions. You can see the records and features you are authorized to use, and access is recorded, so information is made available only where it is permitted.

Privacy and security

How is my information handled?

Our Privacy Policy at blucollarintel.com/privacy explains what we collect, where business information comes from, how it is used and shared, and the rights and choices available to you. We do not sell personal information.

How is the platform secured?

We encrypt data in transit and at rest, govern access by least privilege, monitor our systems, and run a security program described on our Security page at blucollarintel.com/security. If you believe you have found a vulnerability, contact security@blucollarintel.com.
